Job summary

Blue Origin Space Coast, FL is seeking a manufacturing planning specialist to support multiple machine shops and wiring/cable harnessing teams. You will develop work instructions, manage build sequences, and ensure quality throughout fabrication, assembly, and testing in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing planning, GD&T, CAD/CAM proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Highschool, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years direct manufacturing planning or manufacturing build support experience.
• Hardware manufacturing experience with structures, fluid systems, mechanical systems, or avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing work instructions covering fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment.
• Perform root cause analyses when non-conformances occur and deploy corrective actions.
• Define and support repair and rework activities.
• Manage hardware configuration and pedigree throughout build and test processes.
• Ensure processes comply with industry quality systems such as AS9100.
