Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Planner specialized in avionics to lead the development of manufacturing bill of materials, work orders, and routings for the New Glenn program. You will ensure documentation and builds meet quality and schedule goals.

You will coordinate with engineering, suppliers, and production teams, manage a complex parts catalog, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with AS9100 and related standards.

Qualifications

• HS/GED/Equiv required.
• Hardware manufacturing experience with avionics systems.
• Ability to develop manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, test, integration.
• Sound understanding of Electrical Theory and Avionics schematics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or legally admitted to the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the manufacturing of complex avionics devices and harnesses.
• Interpret and translate engineering documents into manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
• Maintain cognizance of ~4000 distinct parts across manufacturing.
• Develop internal specifications to support manufacture of devices and harness assemblies.
• Lead a complex production schedule to support multiple programs.
