Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Albuquerque, NM, seeks an Area Operations Manager to lead multi-branch operations across a Super District. You will partner with Branch Managers and sales, supply chain, finance, and HR to translate strategy into regional execution while upholding safety and service standards.

You will drive regional performance through KPIs, manage budgets, develop leaders, and foster continuous improvement. Travel 40-60% and oversee inventory, fulfillment, and ISO readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Directing multi-location operations or regional branch networks.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Branch Managers and regional operations teams across multiple locations.
• Drive regional financial performance including revenue growth, gross margin, expenses, inventory, and working capital.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA/DOT and internal policies across branches.
• Deliver high service levels, inventory accuracy, on-time deliveries, and order accuracy.
• Oversee regional inventory strategy and collaborate on forecasting and demand planning.
• Recruit, develop, and retain Branch Managers and leaders; build a high-performing team.
• Head continuous improvement initiatives and ensure ISO readiness across the district.
