Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee multiple branch operations across the region. You will translate strategic directives into actionable regional plans, lead Branch Managers, and ensure safety, efficiency, and customer service excellence.

You will drive financial performance, inventory management, and process improvements while partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to support growth and commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in electrical distribution, industrial distribution, wholesale distribution, or logistics environments.
• Demonstrated experience directing multi-location operations or regional branch networks.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Branch Managers and operational teams across the region.
• Translate corporate strategy and operational initiatives into regional execution plans.
• Ensure policy and procedure adherence across locations.
• Drive regional financial performance including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, productivity, inventory management, and working capital.
• Monitor KPIs related to inventory turns, service levels, operating cost, productivity, and safety.
• Oversee regional inventory strategy and improve forecasting and fill rates.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing Branch Managers and operational leaders.
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT).
