Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation, a leading plumbing and drainage solutions provider, seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager for Civil Specifications in the Southwest US. You will promote Siteworks trench drain solutions, influence project specifications, and drive design-win opportunities through engineers and specifiers.

The role requires 50-75% travel, collaboration with reps, and strong technical and presentation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of specification business development within the plumbing industry.
Ability to influence engineering specifications and drive product adoption.
Strong technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex product information.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.
Active participation in relevant industry associations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify and engage with civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers across the US.
Educate engineers on Siteworks features, benefits, and applications.
Position Siteworks as the basis of design in project specifications.
Review drawings and specifications to identify substitutions.
Collaborate with manufacturer reps and sales teams to maximize market penetration.
Utilize CRM to document interactions and track project specifications.
Monitor market trends and provide feedback to leadership on barriers and opportunities.
