Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a dynamic Specification Business Development Manager for the Southwest USA. You will promote Siteworks product lines and drive trench drain specifications with civil, plumbing, and site engineers across the region.

Travel up to 75% is required as you lead educational sessions, site visits, and presentations to secure specifications and expand market penetration nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years in specification business development within plumbing industry.
• Ability to influence engineering specifications and drive product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain complex product information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Active participation in relevant industry associations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers across the US.
• Educate engineers on Siteworks features, benefits, and applications including trenches and interceptors.
• Deliver presentations, lunch-and-learns, seminars, and onsite training to drive awareness.
• Position Siteworks as basis of design in project specifications and identify substitutions.
• Collaborate with reps and sales teams to maximize market penetration.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners.
• Document interactions and manage project pipeline in CRM; communicate updates.
• Monitor market trends and feedback to product management.
