Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation seeks a dynamic Specification Business Development Manager for the Southwest region to promote Siteworks trench drainage solutions with civil and site engineers. You will drive adoption and establish our products as a design basis across multiple project types.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 75%), strong communication skills, and the ability to influence specifications while collaborating with reps and internal teams to grow market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing industry.
• Ability to influence engineering specification and driving product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Active participation in relevant industry associations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with engineers, specifers, and design professionals to influence product selection for site projects.
• Deliver product presentations, lunch-and-learns, technical seminars, and onsite training to drive awareness and preference.
• Position Zurn Siteworks as the basis of design in project specifications for commercial, industrial, municipal, and site development applications.
• Collaborate with manufacturer representatives and sales teams to coordinate efforts and maximize market penetration.
• Document interactions and manage a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM system.
