Job summary

Wabtec Corporation seeks a Southeast USA Regional Sales Manager to win contracts in a defined U.S. territory within the power generation market.

You will combine technical expertise with strategic account management and lead a network of third-party agents to drive growth and deliver measurable value. The role requires a engineering degree, 6–9 years of technical sales/engineering experience in power generation, and travel about 50% within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or related with strong mechanical aptitude).
• 6–9 years of experience in technical sales, application support or engineering in power generation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within a defined U.S. territory (~50%).

Responsibilities

• Submit monthly territory reports detailing sales activities, market developments and opportunities.
• Participate in monthly sales meetings and teleconferences; report on sales efforts and new business.
• Attend trade shows, customer events, and industry functions as directed.
• Visit customer sites for project scoping and equipment inspections.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Sales Director; interface with Application Engineering and manufacturing.
• Develop and present value-driven solutions to improve customer performance and operating costs.
• Follow up on quotations and ensure timely status updates.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with company policies.

Skills
