Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Southeast USA Regional Sales Manager to win contracts in a defined geographic territory within the power generation market. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, managing third‑party agents and delivering measurable value through technical expertise and disciplined sales execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 6–9 years in technical sales or engineering, and ~50% travel within the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
6–9 years in technical sales, applications support or engineering in power generation.
Strong relationship management and communication skills, with travel ~50% within the U.S.
Experience with product selection, costing, proposals, and technical quotations.

Responsibilities

Submit monthly territory reports detailing sales activities and opportunities.
Attend trade shows and client events; visit sites for scoping and inspections.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Director, and application engineering to develop solutions.
Lead programs and projects; manage a network of third‑party sales agents.
Present technical solutions and value propositions to customer management levels.
Follow up on quotations and ensure timely responses to customer needs.
Maintain safety and compliance with company travel and business conduct policies.
