Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a detail-obsessed Sous Chef with leadership skills to motivate a talented kitchen team and manage the daily, high-volume scratch operations.

You’ll learn from some of the industry’s most creative chefs, oversee food prep, line staff, inventory, and on-the-spot problem solving. Pay range: $65,000-$75,000 per year.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a post-secondary culinary credential; flexibility for a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Passionate about culinary arts and a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
