Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented Sous Chef with leadership skills to motivate a high-volume kitchen team. You will oversee daily operations, assist in food prep, manage inventory and provide on-the-spot solutions to keep service running smoothly.

Minimum 2 years in a similar role is required; a post-secondary diploma is a plus. Strong communication and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about culinary arts and a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and able to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
