Cribl is seeking a Solutions Engineer to showcase the value of our data observability platform to customers in pre-sales and post-sale engagements. You will demo the product, guide proof-of-concepts, and act as a trusted technical advisor across diverse environments including AWS, Azure, and on-prem.

This remote-first role requires strong storytelling, technical depth, and willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in logs, metrics, IT operations, and security for selling to SLED customers.
• Background in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Support.
• Familiarity with multi-environment deployments (AWS, Azure, on-prem).
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Regex, and KQL.
• Experience working remotely with travel to in-person events.
• Residency in the Southeast or Midwest US.

Responsibilities

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process
• Demo the product suite and answer technical questions during pre-sales motions
• Lead the proof-of-concept experience through guided sessions with prospects
• Act as an ongoing, trusted technical advisor to existing customers, understanding their environment and how Cribl can continuously add value
• Document interesting domain use cases in blog posts and product documentation
• Travel up to 30% to support customers and marketing events
