Elsevier is seeking a Solution Engineer/Sales Consultant to grow opportunities with Account Managers - Solutions. You will tailor in-depth demonstrations to customer needs, document requirements in CRM, and guide opportunities through pre-sales, sales, and post-sales handoffs.

The role emphasizes technical demos, tender support, and collaboration with Marketing and Product teams to shape value propositions and roadmaps across our Academic Information Systems portfolio.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or MIS or similar field.
• 5+ years of sales experience as a Solution Engineer/Pre-Sales Consultant or similar.
• SaaS/software sales experience is a plus.
• Publishing expertise or familiarity with publishing systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in an international matrixed organization is a plus.
• Proven consultative selling and strong analytical abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-sale: create persona-tailored presentations and demos aligned to customer needs.
• Sales: review CRM data, coordinate with Account Manager, perform demos and capture requirements.
• Post-sales: gather feedback with Customer Success and ensure smooth handoffs to implementation.
• Support tender responses and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
• Develop feasible software solutions aligned to client needs and drive customer satisfaction.
