Job summary

Okta is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the US Enterprise West region, including cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Seattle. You will be the technical lead on customer conversations, delivering tailored product demonstrations and proofs of concept to align Okta solutions with complex security needs.

You will partner with sales to articulate business value, respond to technical questions, and help educate customers across developers, product managers, and executives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in a technology environment.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to varied audiences.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills for product solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team as the technical expert to articulate Okta's value.
• Demonstrate product capabilities with tailored demos and POCs.
• Answer technical questions from customers, partners, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex use cases and integrations.
• Provide feedback to product management on enhancements to address customer needs.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with team members.
• Stay current on competitive landscape and market differentiation.
• Support marketing events such as briefings, conferences, and user groups.
