Job summary

Cribl is hiring a Solutions Engineer for a remote-first role in the United States. You will help customers realize Cribl’s value in real-world environments, lead pre-sales demos, and guide PoCs while traveling up to 30% for customer and event support.

The role favors candidates in the Southeast or Midwest, with experience in Logs, Metrics, IT operations, security, and Cribl product knowledge. Base salary is $140,000–$182,000 USD per year, plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations and Security Background of successfully selling deals to SLED customers
• Background in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Support
• Experience working with multiple environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem) and operating systems (proficiency with Linux a must)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Regex, and KQL
• Prior Cribl product experience. Even better if you have feedback!
• Experience working remotely with travel to support in-person meetings and events
• You reside in the Southeast or Midwest United States

Responsibilities

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process
• Demo the product suite and answer technical questions during pre-sales motions
• Lead the proof-of-concept experience through guided sessions with prospects
• Act as an ongoing, trusted technical advisor to existing customers, understanding their environment and how Cribl can continuously add value
• Document interesting domain use cases in blog posts and product documentation
• Travel up to 30% to support customers and marketing events
