Synthesia is hiring a Solutions Engineer to build the pre-sales function in North America. This founding role will shape the playbook, tooling and best practices as we scale, not following an established model.

Qualifications

• 2+ years pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical experience in a SaaS environment.
• Delivers a strong standard demo aligned to the discovery points with a solid grasp of core demo technique.
• Applies established solution designs and best practices to customer use case with core ecosystem functions.
• Identifies and surfaces deal risk and next steps, escalating to AE.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
• Resourceful: builds network across GTM organization.
• Comfortable with technical fundamentals in at least one area (creation flows, APIs, integrations, security, compliance).
• Self-motivated and organized, managing a growing book of POCs, demos, and conversations while meeting deadlines.
• Willing to travel for customer discovery and on-site demos.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Co-plan and support discovery calls with your AE to understand customer requirements, technical environment, and business challenges.
• Design and execute repeatable demo methodologies that prove Synthesia's value across Studio, Roleplay Sessions, or Interactive Avatars.
• Build and maintain knowledge of Synthesia's platform capabilities, roadmap, and positioning across product lines.
• Deliver demonstrations that address customer problems and tell a credible story for Synthesia.
• Identify technical objections and integration questions, working with AE and ecosystem to find a path forward.
• Contribute your assessment of technical fit and opportunity risk to shape account and deal strategy.
• Keep deal team and manager informed on deal status, timeline, and dependencies.
• Identify and enable technical champions within customer organizations.
• Provide technical guidance on APIs, SDK integrations, security, compliance, and scalability for global deployments.
• Partner with Enablement to complete certifications and stay current on releases.
