Job summary

Synthesia is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to help build and lead our pre-sales motion in North America. This founding role will shape the playbook, tooling, and best practices as we scale, working closely with AEs, Customer Success, and Product Marketing.

You will run discovery, deliver demos, scope POCs, and design technical solutions for each deal, becoming a trusted advisor who translates customer value into measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles at SaaS companies
• Strong consultative discovery and stakeholder management skills
• Technical depth in at least one area (APIs, integrations, security, etc.) and quick domain learning
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message
• Problem-solving approach with requirements gathering and clear communication
• Excellent business and technical presentations, in person and remote
• Self-motivated, organized, able to manage multiple POCs/demos
• Collaborative mindset across AEs, Product, Customer Success
• Product-oriented mindset and curiosity about customer usage of technology
• Willingness to travel to visit key customers for discovery and on-site demos

Responsibilities

• Co-plan and execute discovery calls to understand customer requirements and environment
• Design and deliver demos that show business value and ROI
• Overcome objections and plan solution paths with customers
• Support stakeholder workshops aligning Synthesia to buyer strategy
• Partner with AEs to define deal strategy and forecast opportunities
• Design repeatable demo methodologies for various use cases
• Build relationships with executive champions within customer organizations
• Develop reusable demo assets and integration templates
• Support POC readouts with a storytelling approach
• Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, APIs, integrations, security, and governance
