Job summary

Vontier is seeking a Solution Owner for North America to define market requirements, deploy product strategy, and support development for retail automation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape regional roadmaps and drive growth through Market Led Opportunities.

You will partner with sales, product management, and engineering to deliver compelling solution proposals, demos, and training, while maintaining competitive positioning and a strong value proposition.

Qualifications

Masters degree in engineering or marketing (MBA as an advantage).
Proven product / business development background.
Consistent executive presence and communication skills.
Proven track record of creating and delivering roadmap items on time, scope and budget.
Experience in retail or petroleum retail markets.
Knowledge and practical experience in Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Be the key point of contact for customers within the region interacting with customers at all levels (incl. C-level).
Lead the discovery phase of the project with cross-functional team to frame needs and requirements.
Develop regional solution roadmaps, propose and collect innovation initiatives.
Drive mid- and long-term growth of respective products through Marketing Led Opportunities.
Define and accelerate go-to-market strategy for complete solution portfolio within the region.
Keep and develop knowledge of competition positioning for benchmark.
Organize and update the solution value proposition and run experimentation sessions/research.
Provide support to sales around solution proposals (RFI/RFQ/presentations) with deep architectural ownership.
Own internal and external solution communication flows (customer demos, trainings).
