Job summary

Contentful is seeking a Solution Engineer in the United States to partner with account executives and guide customers through discovery, design, POCs, and risk assessment. You will tailor demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences and support RFPs and security questionnaires.

Travel up to 25% is expected as you work with prospects and customers to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the Contentful platform within their tech stack.

Qualifications

• Clear ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience explaining platform value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle, from technical discovery through presentations, collaborative design sessions, proofs of concept, and close.
• Learn prospect objectives, current and future technology stack, project requirements, and obstacles to digital delivery.
• Demonstrate platform capabilities in a tailored, value-oriented way for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support responses to RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires, coordinating with internal teams to complete accurate answers.
• Identify technical and business risks, validate requirements against the platform, and explain practical mitigation options.
• Relay customer feedback to product, marketing, and sales teams, and collaborate with solution architects and customer success partners on implementation and launch readiness.
