Job summary
Contentful is seeking a Solution Engineer to co-pilot sales opportunities, conducting technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept with Account Executives. You will validate customer requirements against our platform, design solutions, and support RFIs and RFPs.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in solution engineering for SaaS, familiarity with REST APIs and micro-services, and a willingness to travel up to 25%.
Qualifications
- Strong presentation skills enabling both technical and business audiences.
- Understanding of REST APIs and micro-service architecture.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer engagements.
- 3+ years of Solution Engineering experience selling SaaS or related industry experience.
- Experience with Content Management platforms or similar technology is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to co-pilot sales opportunities through technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Translate customer needs into tailored Contentful-based solutions and drive technical validation.
- Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires and coordinate with multiple teams to finalize deals.
- Build deep relationships across teams and with customers to ensure successful deployment and onboarding.
