Job summary

Contentful is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to partner with Account Executives, dive into technical discovery, and design solutions that demonstrate Contentful’s platform during complex SaaS sales cycles. This role emphasizes blending technical depth with business storytelling to drive customer outcomes.

You will engage with customers across marketing teams, validate requirements, produce proofs of concept, support RFIs/RFPs, and help shape the Solution Engineering function while traveling

Qualifications

5+ years experience in Solution Engineering selling SaaS to marketing teams or adjacent roles.
Proven ability to convey technical and business knowledge to mixed audiences.
Experience with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

Onboard customers and help them learn Contentful products, APIs, SDKs, and tools.
Co-pilot sales opportunities with Account Executives through key sales phases.
Validate customer requirements against the Contentful platform and mitigate risks.
Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires; liaise with other departments.
Collect and relay product feedback to Product Management and Marketing.
