Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect for Sales Performance Management, leading end-to-end design across compensation, planning, territory, and enablement. You will guide discovery, define functional architecture, and drive delivery with cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and product groups.

You will work in a hands-on, billable role, shaping SPM solutions and ensuring scalability for customers in the US/Canada, with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Sales Performance Management or related sales tech with architecture experience.
• Deep functional SPM expertise across compensation, planning, territory and enablement.
• Translate business strategy into well-architected solutions; strong analytical skills.
• Model complex incentive and planning logic, in formulas or Excel and on the platform.
• Data concepts and data quality knowledge to partner with technical teams.
• Executive-level communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to scope, define, and manage work packages; pre-sales support.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect end-to-end SPM solutions.
• Translate requirements into a well-architected Salesforce-based solution.
• Own functional design and configuration across SPM suite (Maps, Planning, Spiff).
• Provide governance of scope, quality, and best practices; mentor the team.
• Support pre-sales activities including POC, demonstrations, and proposals.
