Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end SPM engagements across the Salesforce platform. You will align compensation, territory, planning, and enablement into scalable, future-proof solutions while guiding discovery, design workshops, and governance across projects.

You will collaborate with product teams and senior architects, mentored by specialists, to ensure timely, within-scope delivery and to support pre-sales demonstrations and POC development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management or related solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across the SPM domain (compensation, planning, territory, enablement).
• Proven ability to translate business strategy and requirements into well-architected solutions.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive, compensation, and planning logic.
• Solid understanding of data concepts to partner with Technical Architects.
• Executive-level oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to scope, define, and manage work packages and support pre-sales qualification.
• Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced team members.
• Based in the US or Canada and willing to travel regionally.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives and define the SPM solution vision, roadmap, deliverables, and expectations.
• Lead discovery and design workshops, architect and document end-to-end solutions across the SPM suite.
• Translate sales performance requirements into a well-architected Salesforce-based solution.
• Own functional design and configuration leadership across SPM including Maps, Planning, Spiff, and Territory Management.
• Apply Agentforce and AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery and value.
• Define the blueprint, best practices, and design standards; govern scope and quality.
• Partner with Technical Architects to align design with integrations and data.
• Mentor consultants and promote reusable assets and standards.
• Advise customers on operating model, adoption, and best practices.
• Contribute to proposals, staffing plans, and SOWs; support pre-sales activities.
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams during implementations.
• Maintain target billable utilization for the role.
