Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to lead end-to-end Sales Performance Management engagements. You will translate a customer’s strategy into a scalable, well-architected solution across compensation, planning, territory, and enablement, leveraging Salesforce Maps and related tools.

This role is billable, requires discovery and design workshops, and collaboration with product teams. Based in the US or Canada, travel regionally and mentor others while upholding Salesforce values.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, designing, or consulting on SPM, ICM, or related sales tech solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across compensation, planning, territory, and enablement.
• Ability to translate business strategy into well-architected solutions with strong analytical skills.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive, compensation, and planning logic in formulas/excel and in‑platform.
• Executive-level communication and ability to scope and manage work packages.
• Based in the US or Canada and able to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Define the SPM solution vision, roadmap, deliverables, and expectations.
• Lead discovery and solution design workshops, architect and document end-to-end functional solution.
• Translate sales performance strategy into a well-architected Salesforce-based solution.
• Own the functional design across the SPM suite, including territories, planning, and maps.
• Mentor team members and support pre‑sales activities with stakeholders.
