Job summary

Salesforce seeks an experienced Solution Architect for complex Sales Performance Management engagements. You will design end-to-end functional solutions across SPM, including compensation, planning, and territory, leveraging Salesforce Maps, Spiff, and related tools.

You will lead discovery, define architecture standards, and mentor teams while collaborating with Product and Technical stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes. This is a hands-on, billable role with travel in the US/Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management or related sales tech solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across the SPM domain (compensation, planning, territory, enablement).
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into well-architected solutions.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive and compensation logic.
• Executive-level communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to scope, define, and manage work packages and support pre-sales qualification.
• Experience mentoring team members.
• Based in the US or Canada and travel regionally as needed.
• Degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customer stakeholders to define the SPM solution vision and roadmap.
• Lead discovery and design workshops and architect the end-to-end functional solution across the SPM suite.
• Translate requirements into a well-architected Salesforce-based solution.
• Own functional design and configuration leadership across the SPM suite including maps, planning, and programs.
• Apply Agentforce and AI-powered capabilities to accelerate delivery.
• Define blueprint, best practices, and oversee solution scope and quality.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects on integrations and data strategies.
• Mentor consultants and champion reusable assets and standards.
• Support pre-sales activities with discovery, demos, and POC development.
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support implementations.
• Maintain target billable utilization.
