Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end SPM engagements, spanning compensation, planning, territory, and enablement. You will design scalable, integrated solutions across the Salesforce suite and guide discovery, design, and build with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor teammates, partner with product teams, and support pre-sales activities while traveling regionally as needed to serve customers in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management or related solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across the SPM domain including compensation, planning, territory, and enablement.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into well-architected solutions with strong analytical skills.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive and planning logic in formulae or Excel.
• Solid data concepts and collaboration with Technical Architects.
• Excellent oral and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring team members and leading work packages.
• Based in the US or Canada with regional travel availability.
• Degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customer stakeholders to understand objectives and define SPM solution vision and roadmap.
• Lead discovery and solution design workshops and document end-to-end functional solution.
• Translate requirements into a well-architected Salesforce-based solution.
• Own functional design across the SPM suite and related components.
• Apply AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery and value.
• Define blueprint, best practices, and oversee solution scope and quality.
• Coordinate with Technical Architects on integrations and data.
• Mentor consultants and promote reusable assets and standards.
• Support proposals, staffing, and pre-sales activities.
