Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect for Sales Performance Management to design and lead end-to-end SPM engagements. You will translate customer requirements into scalable, Salesforce-based solutions across maps, planning, Spiff, and territory management.

You will drive discovery, document architecture, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with product teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery while maintaining billable utilization. This role requires travel within the US/Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years implementing or designing SPM, ICM, or related sales tech solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across compensation, planning, territory, and enablement on Salesforce.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected, scalable solutions.
• Model complex incentive and planning logic in formulas or Excel.
• Strong data modeling and data quality capabilities to collaborate with architects.
• Executive-level communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to scope, define, and manage work packages; support pre-sales qualification.
• Mentor or guide less experienced team members.
• Based in the US or Canada; willing to travel regionally.
• Degree or equivalent experience; evaluated on core competencies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customer stakeholders to define the SPM vision, roadmap, deliverables, and expectations.
• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect and document end-to-end functional solutions across the SPM suite.
• Translate sales performance strategy into a well-architected Salesforce-based solution.
• Own functional design across SPM components, including maps, planning, programs, and territory management.
• Apply Agentforce and AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery and value.
• Define blueprint, best practices, and governance of scope and quality.
• Coordinate with Technical Architects on integrations and data.
• Mentor consultants and champion reusable assets and standards.
• Advise on operating model, adoption, and best practices for customers.
• Contribute to proposals, staffing plans, statements of work, and pre-sales activities.
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support implementations.
• Maintain target billable utilization.
