Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end Sales Performance Management solutions. You will work across the SPM portfolio, translating customer strategy into scalable, well-architected Salesforce solutions. This is a hands-on, billable role leading discovery, design, and implementation with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor others, drive best practices, and support pre-sales efforts while coordinating with product teams to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, designing, or consulting on SPM, ICM, or related solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across the SPM domain (compensation, planning, territory, enablement).
• Ability to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions with strong analytical skills.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive and planning logic, in formulas or on the platform.
• Solid understanding of data concepts and data quality to partner with Technical Architects.
• Excellent oral and written communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to scope and manage work packages and support pre-sales qualification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customer stakeholders to define SPM solution vision, roadmap, and expectations.
• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect and document end-to-end functional solutions across the SPM suite.
• Translate business strategy into a scalable Salesforce-based solution with strong governance.
• Own functional design and configuration leadership across the SPM suite, including Salesforce Maps and Planning.
• Apply Agentforce and AI-powered capabilities to accelerate delivery and value realization.
• Define solution blueprint, best practices, and design standards; oversee scope and quality.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to align design with integrations and data.
• Mentor team members; champion reusable assets and standards.
• Advise customers on SPM operating models, adoption, and best practices.
• Contribute to proposals/SOWs and support pre-sales activities.
