Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years mechanical design experience (2+ years may be considered for standout candidates).
• Proficient in SolidWorks and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Accurate, detail-oriented drawing work and fabricator liaisons.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater equipment in SolidWorks and produce fabrication drawings.
• Carry conveyor designs from requirements to released drawings.
• Figure out how to build new equipment the company has never made before.
• Visit the nearby fabrication shop to review plans and solve build questions.
• Prepare drawings for outside fabricators with appropriate detail.
• Support project engineers with the design work required for each order.
• Ensure equipment fits and is built right the first time.
