Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a field technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants. Responsibilities include monitoring, testing, repairing, and ensuring safety standards are met across electrical components.

The role requires the ability to climb, lift up to 70 pounds, and work in varied temperatures. Knowledge of SCADA, CMMS, and electrical codes is essential; a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; electrical certs a plus.
• College/technical degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Electrical certifications or military/utility training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and operation tasks on utility-scale PV systems.
• Inspect, test, repair, and modify AC/DC solar PV components.
• Adhere to safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Maintain documentation and reports; ensure CMMS work orders are complete.
