Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a qualified maintenance technician for utility-scale PV plants. Responsibilities include monitoring plant operation via SCADA, commissioning, testing, and performing maintenance on inverters, transformers, and metering systems.

Applicants should have 2+ years in related roles or journeyman certification, with strong electrical and safety knowledge. High school diploma required; technical degree or electrical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a related position or Journeyman certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems and SCADA.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and diagrams.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPI driven maintenance and support overall plant efficiency.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Lead PM work, testing, measuring, and maintenance of site components.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with on-site projects, installations, and inspections.
