Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Technician I for the Pitts, GA location. The role focuses on monitoring and maintaining utility-scale PV plants, including SCADA oversight, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar components.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to communicate in English. The position requires physical work and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA and assist in commissioning, testing and inspection.
• Troubleshoot, repair and modify AC and DC solar PV systems (inverters, modules, transformers, switchgear, metering).
• Perform PM work on site components and document in CMMS systems.
• Follow safety, environmental and Lockout-Tag-Out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
