Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant operations through SCADA, assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting, and ensure safety protocols are followed on site.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, some college/technical training, and up-to-date electrical certifications. Prior experience and the ability to work in varied conditions will be valued, with opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state or journeyman, a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operations via SCADA and field checks.
• Perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC PV systems.
• Maintain safe working practices; follow Lockout-Tagout and Job Hazard Analysis procedures.
• Complete PM tasks and document work in CMMS.
• Prepare documentation for procurement and vendor services.
• Support regulatory compliance and safety training.
