Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a hands-on technician to operate and maintain utility-scale PV facilities. You will monitor SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, and repairs on inverters, transformers, and metering systems, while adhering to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, planning preventive maintenance, and documenting work orders. A high school diploma is required; a technical degree and military/utility training are a plus. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining utility scale PV power plant equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and arc flash standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operations via SCADA and perform commissioning and testing.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC solar PV systems and equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Job Hazard Analysis procedures.
• Assist in planning on-site projects, installations, and performance testing.
• Maintain documentation and complete work orders accurately.
