Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a maintenance technician to support utility-scale PV plants. Responsibilities include monitoring plant operation through SCADA, performing commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems, including inverters and transformers.

Required are 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to meet safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state/journeyman, etc. a plus.
• Experience with PM work, safety procedures, and electrical codes.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and operation tasks for utility-scale PV plants.
• Monitor plant via SCADA, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC systems.
• Follow safety, environmental, and JHA/Lockout-Tag-Out procedures.
• Prepare procurement documents and maintain CMMS work orders.
• Maintain site cleanliness and ensure documentation is complete and filed.
