Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking an experienced technician to support utility-scale PV plant maintenance. You will monitor SCADA systems, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and repair of AC/DC PV equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Requirements include a High School diploma, electrical knowledge, and the ability to obtain required certifications. A college degree or journeyman credentials are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Electrical certifications and journeyman status are a plus.
• College or technical degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform to quarterly KPIs including energy generation versus plan and site maintenance schedules.
• Maintain a safe work environment following company protocols and safety standards.
• Complete PM tasks, measure and test site components, and document results.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure CMMS work orders are complete and accurate.
• Prepare procurement documents and manage material/vendor workflows.
• Attend training in safety and environmental areas as assigned.
