Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Field Technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor SCADA, assist in commissioning, testing, and repairing electrical systems including inverters, transformers, and metering equipment.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols and rigorous documentation. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in related maintenance, electrical certifications, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical certifications a plus.
• 2+ years in related maintenance role or journeyman level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls.
• Proficiency with CMMS and reading electrical schematics; strong safety discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned PM work and inspections on PV plant components.
• Monitor plant operation and SCADA data; assist in commissioning and testing.
• Adhere to Job Hazard Analysis, Lockout/Tag-Out and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
