Job summary

Venture Home is seeking a Business Development Consultant to help homeowners transition to solar energy. This role is focused on providing an educational sales process rather than cold calling. Successful candidates will have a strong sales background and will capitalize on qualified appointments set by our team.

The position offers a base salary plus uncapped commission, with OTE ranging between $100,000 and $200,000. Benefits include health insurance, a 401k match program, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proven sales representatives with a track record of success.
• Experience in outside sales or in-home sales preferred.
• Solar experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Help homeowners understand the solar process and benefits.
• Meet with homeowners to close deals.
• Work with the appointment setting team to manage scheduled appointments.

Venture Home is hiring a Business Development Consultant. A Business Development Consultant is not a lead generation role where you will be asked to knock on doors or cold call. We are seeking experienced sales representatives that are closers with a track record of success in sales and are looking for the right environment to be successful. Our appointment setting team will schedule qualified appointments on your calendar for you to meet with homeowners and close with the best combination of products, services, and track record in the industry. We view the sales process in solar to be educational and we realize that it is an emotional decision for people to make the switch, so we focus on making sure that our customers understand not just how solar works, but also where the money is coming from to help pay for their project so that it doesn't seem "too good to be true".
