Job summary

Knobelsdorff is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead solar projects from handoff to closeout in Minnesota, with 20% travel to sites. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and safety while serving as the main customer liaison, coordinating with engineering, pre-construction, and estimations teams.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed on out-of-town projects. DOE applies to compensation.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in utility grade photovoltaic project management.
• Ability to oversee and report progress daily to leadership to ensure on-time, in-budget project completion.
• Experience with estimating, planning, scheduling, cost management, materials/purchasing, operations and maintenance, and client-facing.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple solar projects from handoff through closeout, overseeing scope, contracts, schedules, budgets, safety requirements, and execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with Construction Managers and the General Superintendent to meet milestones.
• Manage project finances, including weekly budget and cost-to-complete forecasting, revenue forecasting, billing, SOVs, and updates in Viewpoint.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates, managing deliverables, and tracking change orders.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project requirements and timelines.
