Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) seeks a Project Manager for solar projects based in Goodhue, MN, overseeing scope, contracts, schedules, and budgets from handoff through closeout. The role emphasizes coordination with Engineering, Pre-Construction, and Estimating, plus active client communication and change management.

You will manage procurement, subcontractors, and safety, while ensuring milestones and financial targets are met. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in utility-grade PV project management.
• Ability to report daily progress to leadership.
• Experience with scheduling, cost management, and client-facing activities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willing to travel and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple solar projects from handoff to closeout, overseeing scope, contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with Construction Managers and Superintendents to hit milestones.
• Manage project finances: budget reviews, cost-to-complete forecasting, revenue forecasting, invoicing, SOVs.
• Act as primary client contact, provide updates, manage deliverables and change orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Pre-Construction, Estimating on scope, RFIs, constructability, and requirements.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and delivery timelines.
• Support safety by ensuring materials/docs and KE safety procedures.
• Lead handoff, kickoff, coordination, closeout meetings with field and support teams.
• Monitor performance via site visits and cost-code performance.
• Closeout: punch-list, final invoicing, lessons learned.
