Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation and maintenance of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection and repairs on PV systems, inverters, and switchgear. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Requirements include a high school diploma (technical degree preferred), basic electrical knowledge, ability to lift and climb, and a valid driver’s license; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications or equivalent training a plus.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and prints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and inspection of AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Uphold safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
