Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled technician to support the maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and repairs of inverters, transformers, and metering systems.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and electrical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Electrical certifications are a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Maintain safety by following Lockout Tag Out and Job Hazard Analysis procedures.
• Complete PM work and document using CMMS; ensure site equipment is maintained.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and support procurement activities.
• Travel may be required depending on company needs.
