Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the operation of utility-scale PV plants. This role monitors SCADA, conducts commissioning, testing, inspection, and maintenance of AC/DC solar systems, including inverters and switchgear. You will follow safety procedures, complete job plans, and document work in CMMS.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in a related field or journeyman cert., HS diploma, and electrical certifications are a plus. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a related position or journeyman certificate.
• Experience operating and maintaining utility PV electrical systems; SCADA and controls preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or electrical certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and maintenance tasks to keep PV assets at or above planned KPI targets.
• Promote safety, adhere to LOTO procedures, and maintain 5S site standards.
• Communicate with stakeholders and document activities in CMMS.
• Assist with on-site installations, commissioning, and inspections.
