Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support the operation of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor and maintain electrical systems, SCADA, inverters, and metering equipment, performing inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to keep plants online.

Work with a safety-first team, follow Job Hazard Analysis and Lockout-Tagout procedures, and complete documentation in CMMS. Travel to sites may be required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls operation with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state or journeyman status a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM work including measuring, reading, testing and maintenance on site components.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Job Hazard Analysis and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and document activities.
• Travel to project sites as needed and support on-site installations and testing.
