Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for utility-scale PV plants located in Winamac, IN. The role focuses on monitoring operations via SCADA, performing commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs on AC/DC solar systems, inverters, and associated equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and safety training such as Lockout/Tagout; a college/technical degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience is required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Work on inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear and metering systems.
• Follow operating, safety, and environmental procedures including Lockout/Tagout.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and ensure documentation is complete.
• Prepare procurement documents and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
