Job summary
NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance and Operations Technician to support utility-scale PV power plant operations. Responsibilities include monitoring plant performance via SCADA, performing commissioning, testing, and preventive maintenance on inverters, modules, transformers, and switchgear, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
The role requires 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma (college/technical degree preferred), and the ability to work in
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
- 1 year of related experience.
- Electrical certifications a plus.
- Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monitoring PV plant operation via SCADA.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on AC/DC solar systems, inverters, and electrical components.
- Ensure safety procedures and environmental requirements are followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports; operate in English.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and procurement teams.
- Support on-site housekeeping and 5S standards.
