Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems including inverters and switchgear.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma (tech degree preferred), and strong knowledge of electrical safety, arc flash standards, and CMMS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or related role.
• Experience with electrical systems, SCADA, controls, and preventive maintenance.
• High School diploma required; college/technical degree preferred; electrical certifications a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written) and able to communicate with stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPI-based work and maintain plant efficiency.
• Promote safe work environment and follow company protocols.
• Complete safety and quality as per Job Hazard Analysis and LOTO.
• Carry out PM work, measurements, testing, and maintenance on site components.
• Assist in planning on-site projects, installations, commissioning, inspections, and testing.
• Ensure all documentation and reports are complete and filed.
• Maintain 5S standards on site and safety compliance.
• Travel as required.
