Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Technician I in Denmark, TN to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants. Responsibilities include monitoring SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing PV systems, including inverters, modules, transformers, and switchgear.

The role requires at least 1 year in a related position, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work in varied temperatures and environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and supervise commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Perform maintenance and modifications on PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Follow safety, environmental, and Lockout-Tag-Out procedures; ensure documentation and reports are completed.
