Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Utility Solar Technician I for the Moapa Valley, NV area. You will monitor PV plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning and maintenance on solar PV systems, and ensure safety and documentation standards are followed.

Requires 1 year of related experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent; a college/technical degree is preferred. Travel may be required; competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA and inspect PV equipment.
• Perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems.
• Maintain safety procedures and ensure CMMS work orders are completed.
