Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a full-time technician in Elgin, TX, to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants. Responsibilities include SCADA monitoring, commissioning, testing, and repairing PV systems, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with CMMS and Windows. Travel to sites may be required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related maintenance/operator experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Experience with PV plants, SCADA, and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform commissioning/testing.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC solar systems and components.
• Follow safety, environmental, and Lockout-Tag-Out procedures.
• Maintain CMMS work orders and document maintenance activities.
